Advice for Blondes

Use an equal mixture of Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo and white vinegar to keep product build up away.

The vinegar removes metallics and chlorine from hair, while keeping your color brilliant. It is an excellent remedy for those of you that have well water. Michele also recommends her guests to use this tonic the day before their color service.

Tips for Men

In June, Felix Andrew Salon had one of our Trainers and Hairstylist, Wade, teach a Men’s Haircutting Class at our Coconut Point location.  The class aimed to work on various techniques to improve our stylists' "tool belts."  Stylists were asking Wade for some summer advice to give to their male guests.
Wade advises his male guests to use a good shampoo, especially in the summer season.  Why?  If men choose not to use a good shampoo that exfoliates the scalp, it can lead to clogged pores and follicles of the scalp and can eventually lead to hair loss or blemishes.
Wade recommends using the Aveda Men’s Pure-Formance Exfoliating Shampoo, which can be found in any of our three locations.  The shampoo thoroughly cleanses the scalp and hair removing excessive oil, product build-up and dull, dead skin cells.  Men’s Health recently awarded this product a Grooming Award.
